FINALLY…the last installment to the series I’ve been sharing on our November Disney trip! We spent our fourth day at Magic Kingdom and it was a long, full day of fun! Shout out again to Claire with A Pair of Ears Travel that made it all possible. Seriously, we couldn’t have organized and managed this trip without her! I cannot recommend reaching out to her ENOUGH! 🙂

So one last time, here is a break down of what we did…and what we ate! Enjoy!

What we did:

Early Open Hour

We took advantage of of the early open and were there an hour early! And it was amazing to be first in line in a ton of rides before the crowds arrived! We actually knocked out four rides before the park technically opened!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Such a fun, interactive ride! We all loved trying to defeat Zurg!

Astro Orbiter

Another fun classic! Chris and I even squeezed in to ride together so the kids could fly sky high on their own!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This is such a fun roller coaster that typically gets a crazy line so I’m so glad we knocked it out early! You can see how much fun Chris had in the photos!

“it’s a small world”

You can’t come to Magic Kingdom and skip this ride! It’s just a classic and for some reason, Lily LOVES this ride! The tune is catchy so be warned!

Jungle Cruise (lightning)

This was our first ride with the park technically opened. It’s a favorite of our family…the jokes are always spot on!

Haunted Mansion (lightning)

My kids can sometimes spook easily so we watched the Disney+ Behind the Attraction for this ride beforehand so they could see it wasn’t actually scary! It all started out great and they were loving the ride…and then something happened and the ride paused. We were stuck in a dark, spooky spot for roughly 15 minutes and Lily had a death grip on me until we finally started moving again. You can see she has her eyes closed and head turned in our ride photo! Unsurprisingly, we didn’t make plans to ride a second time! 🙂

Pirates of the Caribbean (lightning)

The kids got a kick out of this one! Thankfully, we didn’t get splashed by the cannons!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Another fun roller coaster that both kids and adults loved!

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin (lightning)

Chris and I skipped this one and let the kids have the fun! While they rode the magic carpets, Chris picked up a Dole Whip and I waited patiently to enjoy! 🙂

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

A classic and fun 3D film…plus, a nice break for the feet/back!

Mad Tea Party

I cannot ride this ride…I get super nauseated. So, Chris and the kids enjoyed…and loved it! Don’t let Harrison’s face fool you…he loved it!

The Barnstormer (lightning)

Though it says it’s a “junior roller coaster”…I feel this one is still super fun!

Dumbo the Flying Elephant (lightning)

Based on the kids faces, they QUITE enjoyed this one!

Tomorrowland Speedway

The kids LOVE this ride because they feel like they are just the coolest drivers around! 🙂 I will say, Harrison’s broken arm hanging out did look pretty chill and cool!

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Say what you will, I think this ride is cool. It’s nice to get a little tour of the area and there is never a line!

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (lightning)

We saw an opportunity to ride a favorite again…and took it! Just as fun as the first time!

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

This one is literally always a hoot! But, it went up a notch this trip because Harrison got picked in the crowd to tell a joke! He looked awesome with the mic in his hand and, thank goodness, behaved! Whew! 🙂

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress

Shockingly, neither Chris nor I had any memory of actually seeing this before so we jumped right in. It was actually really enjoyable. The seats move throughout the 20th century and shows the various updates to technology through the eyes of a family. The kids actually thought it was pretty neat!

Peter Pan’s Flight (lightning)

We needed one more thing to fill the time before our dinner reservation and this was the perfect fill! For some reason, Chris thinks this ride is all hype but I really like it…especially soaring through the London skies!

What we ate:

Snacks: Popcorn, Dole Whip, Cupcakes & Marshmallows, Pretzel

Of course, we continued to enjoy the popcorn in our souvenir buckets! But we also went a little wild on snacks this day with an infamous Dole Whip from Aloha Isle and an incredible pretzel at The Lunching Pad!

Lunch: Columbia Harbour House

This was an absolutely delicious lunch! I ordered the famous Lobster Roll, while Chris enjoyed the Shrimp Skewer with Green Beans. The kids were fairly silly and ordered an Uncrustable and Fries. So lame!

Dinner: Cinderlla’s Royal Table

Everyone needs to do this at least once…and I’m glad we did. The fancy food was delicious and the atmosphere was so special. But, it’s quite a pretty penny! Our dinner could have been a little more enjoyable had we had a table in the middle of the action instead of close to the entrance as well as if our reservation wouldn’t have been behind schedule. We missed the firework show…though we could hear it in the castle, we didn’t get to enjoy it, which was a bummer. All that to say, I’m still glad we got to enjoy this! I enjoyed the (vegetarian) Heirloom Tomato Salad, Chickpea Panisse, and the Coffee Pots de Creme…plus I ordered a sparkling Bellini! Chris enjoyed the soup of the day, scallops, and the Clock Strikes Twelve (chocolate mousse). Lily was too old for the kid’s menu so she had to really expand her horizons for this meal! She had the royal cheese course, chickpea panisse, and the Jaq & Gus cheesecake. Harrison lived his best life and enjoyed the macaroni & cheese with rice (yay carbs!) and the Build-Your-Own-Cupcake dessert!

If you can’t tell, Lily was FEELING herself! 😉

Links to what we wore:

Rachel: Leggings, Shirt, Earrings, BTR Hat, Fanny Pack (I will say…fanny pack wasn’t my favorite! It can get frustrating with the ride safety bars!)

Lily: Leggings, Shirt

Harrison: Shirt, Mesh Track Pants

Chris: Shirt

It was a magical day and, overall, a magical trip! Loved going this time of year because the weather was lovely. Typically the crowds aren’t supposed to be that bad the week before Thanksgiving but I think due to the 50th celebration, it was a bit bonkers!

Our days at Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios are all linked here!
