We spent the second day of our November Disney Trip at Epcot! I love this park because I love allllllll the food. We all wore our stretchy pants and had an absolutely amazing day! (Again, continued shout out to Claire with A Pair of Ears Travel!) Below I have broken down what we did and…more importantly…what we ate! Enjoy! 🙂
What we did:
We kicked off the day by traveling to Epcot via the Skyliner, which is a ride in and of itself! The views are amazing and it’s a fun way to start the day! We got to the park before it opened and were able to walk around England for a second!
We got to the park as early as we could and the second the “rope dropped” we high tailed it to Frozen Ever After with the rest of the pumped up princesses! I really like this ride but be warned…you might get a little wet! (You can’t tell in the pic below but we didn’t leave Harrison behind…he is hidden behind the single rider in the front row!)
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (Virtual Queue)
This ride is amazing and just so much fun! Or to be more precise…c’est magnifique! I’m a big fan of the newer rides that have the giant screens and the moving vehicles. They provide a thrill without making me want to barf…big fan of that combo! 🙂 The amazing Claire actually scored our position on the virtual queue that morning! She text us on our way to the park and told us when to head to the ride!
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The The Caballeros
I love Mexico! The new Coco additions in the Mexico Folk Art Gallery as well as the market outside the ride…just so much fun! Plus there is hardly ever a line!
We enjoyed walking around and the cronut…oh the cronut!
We opted for the “less intense” version and it was still exciting to me!
Cool Club
I missed out on the tasting of the various Cokes…but I hear the kids had a blast tasting all the various flavors from around the world!
Test Track (Lightning Lane)
A favorite for the kiddos! They loved building the cars and zooming around the track! Tip: hold on to your hat and ears!
Journey Into Imagination With Figment
This ride is a classic good time! The sights, sounds…smells! We all loved this ride!
Soarin’ Around the World (Lightning Lane)
An absolutely beautiful ride! I don’t know how they do it but I felt like I was actually flying and fully expected to get a splash when we traveled over the ocean!
Spaceship Earth (Lightning Lane)
An oldie but a goodie, in my opinion!
Living with the Land (Lightning Lane)
This cool boat tour through the greenhouses and different gardens really is neat! While everyone thought it was neat…I was living my best life. I love learning all the cool sustainable ways Disney feeds its guests!
What we did we eat?
Snacks: Popcorn in Canada; Cronut at Epcot Experience
We specifically wanted to refill our souvenir popcorn containers in Canada because we had heard tales of their maple popcorn…and I’m so glad we did because it was so delicious! Another MUST snack is the Cronut! I can’t find the link but we were able to find it right outside Epcot Experience!
Lunch: La Cantina de San Angel
This quick service stop in Mexico was absolutely delicious! Lily and I ordered the Empanadas con Queso which were these amazing little fried pockets of delicious cheese. Chris ordered the Tacos de Pescado (Fish Tacos) and Harrison stuck with a known favorite…mac & cheese.
Dinner: Teppan Edo
This hibachi restaurant in Japan was also just delicious. I ordered the miso soup (because I believe miso is magical) and the Salmon while Chris ordered the Yasai (seasonal vegetables) and the kids ordered the Ebi (shrimp…but didn’t touch the shrimp so we ate it…sigh.) Also, Lily discovered Yum Yum sauce. 🙂
Links to what we wore:
Rachel: Leggings, Button Up, Shirt, Hat, Earrings, Crossbody Bag
Harrison: Mesh Track Pants, Tshirt
Chris: Shirt
We had a really great day at Epcot. There is a ton to enjoy in each of the different countries!
This is day two of our trip with Animal Kingdom broken down here and the other parks coming soon! 🙂
