Another week in the books and another week of being busy, busy, busy. It was difficult to stay on track this week and the temptations were abundant…but I’m proud to say, I stayed the course! I have to admit, I’m losing steam a bit. Though I’m powering through and feeling/seeing results, I’m starting to get a little discouraged thinking about the sustainability past the four week plan.
Once again, the meals in week three were just as delicious as weeks one and two! There were a few meals I was skeptical about, particularly if they were going to be filling enough. However, I was pleasantly surprised each and every time. The best example of this was the Cottage Cheese Omelet as a dinner while I watched my family chow down on Cane’s chicken fingers! However, it was delicious and I felt satisfied without feeling miserable…and that was such a lovely feeling!
With the scheduling still challenging, I remain very tempted by the Galveston Diet meal delivery service. I’m actually going to give it a try for next week to see if that removes some of the stress I’m feeling. I believe the feelings of stress and overwhelm are counter productive to the overall goal of the program so I need to find hacks to make it work for me! I’m going to try just one meal a day for now and see what happens! I’ll report back!
In terms of movement, I tried to incorporate some variety this week. I added yoga, Peloton rides, and lots of gardening to my weighted walking. I still need to work on adding in strength and possibly even running but I’m moving!
So now, for the results! I noticed a difference in my sleep quality and irritability this week…both in the right direction! I feel significantly less bloated and uncomfortable…just overall, a much healthier feeling! I’m more comfortable in my body, which is just huge! I am another 2 pounds down, which makes for SIX total and another inch, which is THREE total! So, not a bad week!
Looking into Week 4, I’m excited about the meals and snacks again because they look really tasty. I’m going to keep working on incorporating more variety into my exercise routine and, of course, keeping up with my water intake!
